Hi, I'm April!

I’m a self-taught freelance illustrator from Australia, and I’m passionate about creating bright, colourful illustrations.

I've been drawing since before I can remember! It's such an important part of my life, and I've always been passionate about turning art into my career. I like to explore different styles and subject matter in my works and I am particularly inspired by other artists and pop culture. I am a big fan of anime, cartoons and movies - one of my favourite genres is horror, as well as fantasy and sci fi. I love any type of media that pulls me into a crazy fictional world! I feel like this definitely reflects in my works and personal style.

My passion is to create character illustrations, portraits, and turn people’s imaginations into art.
Since starting my freelance journey, I have created commercial designs for a variety of commercial clients, as well as personalised commission work.

Alongside freelance illustration, I also create my own stickers, stationery and knick knacks, featuring my original designs.
